D2O World - Non Profit, Non Political and Non Sectarian.
We love others without regard for race, creed, nationality, politics, or financial status. We are one voice and instrument helping individuals and organizations to love others through their actions. We promote awareness and help raise financial support for our own projects, as well as others’ projects. This is our organization’s way of “doing to others”!.
D2O is the acronym for “Do to others” (as you would have them do unto you).
This is a belief held in common with most people in the world.
We believe that inside every person exists is a deep need to be treated with fairness, love, compassion, understanding, and care ...especially when in dire need.
We want to do just that - treat others in the same way we want to be treated. D2O’s mission is to encourage believers to make a lifestyle of “Do to Others”
D2O promotes awareness and raises support for projects that focus on alleviating human misery and breaking the destructive cycle of mistreating precious human beings.
We partner with others of similar vision, and we want to encourage and join with you in whatever possible way….the need out there is enormous! Following this simple truth is the way to resolve the misery of poverty and human exploitation
We can live the beauty of the “golden rule” into the lives of those who suffer. We can save a life and give hope to a soul!
The purpose of D2O World is to:
- Witness the love of God and man throughout the world by working in cooperation with people in need, in order to create a better standard of living; also to work and associate, or to amalgamate or be affiliate with other agencies, institutions, entities or groups which have common interests or purpose.
- Empower communities and /or other organizations to increase income-generating activities.
- Participate or promote a variety of activities designed to improve living conditions and alleviate poverty.
- Contribute to benevolent, religious, or civic charitable institutions which are aligned with the purposes of this corporation.
- Fund-raiser as needed. Receiving donations for any D2O projects and affiliated programs and initiatives.
- Import or make arrangement for the provision of all kinds of goods/articles intended for those in need throughout the world.
- Acquire real property necessary for the carrying out of purposes of this corporation.
- Print and/or publish documents of all forms which promote the objects of this corporation.
- Participate in education, health care and any other quality of life improvement for children/adults.
- Skills training/education of community members and leaders.
- Other humanitarian efforts within the broad scope of alleviating poverty.
